Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She lived in a small village near a big forest. Her mother gave her a red hood, and from that day on, everyone called her Little Red Riding Hood.
One day, her grandmother fell very sick. Little Red Riding Hood’s mother asked her to take some food and medicine to her grandmother’s house. The mother said, “Be careful on the way, and don’t talk to strangers.”
Little Red Riding Hood said, “I will be careful, Mom.” She put the basket in her hand and started walking through the forest.
As she walked, she met a wolf. The wolf asked, “Where are you going, little girl?”
She answered, “I’m going to see my grandmother. She is not feeling well.”
The wolf smiled and said, “I also want to visit your grandmother. Let me go with you.”
Little Red Riding Hood said, “No, thank you. I need to hurry.”
But the wolf was clever. He ran faster than her and reached the grandmother’s house first. He knocked on the door and said, “Grandma, it’s me, Little Red Riding Hood.”
The grandmother, who was very weak, opened the door. But instead of seeing her granddaughter, she saw the wolf. The wolf jumped into bed and pretended to be the grandmother.
When Little Red Riding Hood arrived, she knocked on the door. The wolf said in a weak voice, “Come in, dear.”
Little Red Riding Hood entered and saw her grandmother in bed. But something was strange. Her grandmother’s ears looked too big, and her eyes were very bright.
“Grandma,” she said, “your ears are so big!”
“Because I want to hear you better, dear.”
“Grandma, your eyes are so big!”
“Because I want to see you better, dear.”
“Grandma, your mouth is so big!”
“Because I want to eat you, little girl!”
At that moment, the wolf tried to eat Little Red Riding Hood. But just then, a woodsman came by. He heard the noise and went into the house. He saw the wolf and killed him with his axe.
Then he helped the grandmother and Little Red Riding Hood. From that day on, Little Red Riding Hood learned to be careful and never talk to strangers again.
And they all lived happily ever after.
